Trip Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVAL AT ATHENS AIRPORT - Transfer to the hotel - Free afternoon. Optional city walk to experience the nightlife of Athens. Overnight in hotel in Athens
Day 2
PANORAMIC TOUR OF THE CITY OF ATHENS. Visit the archaeological site of the Acropolis (Parthenon). Panoramic tour of the city - you will discover the center of the city, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Parliament and the neo-classical buildings of Panepistimiou Avenue (Academy, University and National Library). You will also see the Gate of Hadrian, the Temple of the god Zeus Olympian and the Panathenaic stadium by making a brief stop for photo. Free time for lunch in a local tavern. Then you will visit the new Acropolis Museum. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3
ATHENS FREE DAY OR ONE DAY CRUISE (OPTIONAL). Enjoy a free day in Athens. Alternatively, you can opt for an unforgettable Day Cruise to the Saronic Gulf islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. Depart from Piraeus port and spend the day immersed in the beauty of these idyllic islands, enjoying music, a buffet lunch, and stunning surroundings. Overnight in Athens.
Day 4
EPIDAURUS - MYCENAE - NAFPLIO - OLYMPIA Embark on a journey to explore ancient wonders. Start your day by visiting the Theatre of Epidaurus, renowned for its remarkable acoustics. Continue to Mycenae, where you’ll discover the fascinating Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Capture memories with a photo stop in the charming town of Nafplio. Continue your adventure through Central Peloponnese, passing picturesque towns and villages. Arrive in Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5
OLYMPIA - DELPHI. Start your day with a visit to Olympia, where you’ll explore the Archaeological Site and Museum. Delve into the ancient history of the Olympic Games and gain insight into the religious and cultural significance of Olympia. Continue your journey towards Delphi. Arrive in Delphi, check into your hotel, and prepare for the next day’s exploration. Overnight in Delphi.
Day 6
DELPHI - METEORA. Breakfast - Visit to the archaeological site of Delphi with the Treasure of Athens, the temple of Apollo and the museum. - free time for lunch - Departure for Kalambaka, located at the foot of Meteora, an amazing landscape, unique in the world for its’ beauty. Overnight stay in Kalambaka.
Day 7
METEORA - ATHENS. Visit the Meteora and the monasteries, unique monuments of Byzantine art. Visit of 2 monasteries - free time for lunch - return to Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Day 8
DEPARTURE. Breakfast - Depending on the flight schedule, transfer from Athens airport.
